Chapter two: The alarm
Star date: January 25, 2082
Time: 21:30 CET
Distance: 468.02 millions miles for earth
Location: unknown
The alarm rang in their heads for another ten minutes after turning it off. They were all confused with not knowing what is going to happen. After all, they’re already the world’s heroes. They have their own statue, which they will probably never see. Not even on the picture because the file transfer from earth lasts dozens of years. That means the information they will gain will hit the world after decades of years. They will never know what they found out, and if it’s useful. At least their families gained eternal donations of money clothes food an everything they needed. Small compensation for taking their kids to suicidal mission, but everything counts.
Joel had finally spoken. After the weeks of total silence his voice interrupted the nervous atmosphere in the control room and he said: “The course has been changed. It looks like we’re not flying the same direction anymore.” The most important thing about this mission, to fly straight. Because of the space is twisted, flying straight is the only thing that can avoid of being lost, or circling in one place for eternity. And now it’s gone. But Capo couldn’t believe.
-“What does it mean we changed our course. It cannot be. The computer is working there is no chance of changing it.”
-“Yes it is.”, responded Joel, “The computer is still on, as you say, but we’re forced to change direction.”
-“Forced by whom?”
Joel took a deep breath and whisperingly pronounced that he had no idea. That wasn’t important in that moment. Important was that the mission is in jeopardy and the change of course can be the last thing the will happen on this ship. Once they’re lost in space, no one will help them to find their way. They were pulled by unknown force, probably the black hole, or dying star, and they just couldn’t do a thing.
After an hour of thinking and realizing how much they are screwed, they decided nothing can be done. The SOS signal to earth will travel for too long, because nobody expected they will gone so far. Everything that could have been done was expecting and waiting. But suddenly, something changed this waiting. Lights turned off and silence spreaded across the ship. All the walls and floors started shaking. All ship was suddenly out of electricity. The automatic locks turned open. That’s the last thing they remember…
Chapter three: Waking up
Star date: unknown
Time: unknown
Distance: unknown

Joel woke up in the middle of great hall. His headache was so strong that he could barely breath. He tried to stand up on his feet, but he was unable any movement. He looked at the small corridor leading to prison cells and he saw the shadow walking right to him. He silently whispered “Help”, tried to get up again while watching the person and then he went unconscious. The same problem had other three members of crew. A mystical person just walked around him right to the pressure chamber. Behind the metal and glass he could still see the lights floating free from the Icarus. After a minute they dissapeared in the distance. He took a gun from table and hid himself on the ship.
After an hour crew was finally able to stand up. First one was Cassie. She woke up with short turn memory lost, but few minutes later she was all ok. She remembered that electricity went out, and then just that creepy sound. The sound she knew was not happy one for them. The sound of all the locks switching open. She thought of Andrew. He tried to kill Capo once, but it was eight years ago. She rather didn’t think about what should come when he would be free to go. But she satisfied herself by realizing that he’s donated by medicine. She crawled to main computer and checked the system. All programs were running well. Then she checked the security cameras. First one, Andrew. He was still in prison cell. Covered by blankets. Then she checked the hall. Joel was just standing up too. Then the corridor. Capo and Jane were just running to the control room as well. Everything seemed to be alright.
They met in the room. First one to talk was of course explosive Capo.
-What the hell has just happened? Can somebody answer me that question?.
The only one enough alright to talk was probably Joel. So he took a word.
-“In the time, I have no idea. But I have some question to ask too. One of us was walking next to me as I was uconscious and I want to know who was it.”
-“That’s actually not possible”,pronounced Cassie, “we all just woke up as you did.”
-“Well obviously for me that’s not so exact. Somebody was conscious and that somebody didn’t help me to get up. The last thing I saw was that shadow doing something with pressure chamber. What about Andrew? Is he in prison? Because the last thing I remember is locks. And that sound scared the shit out of me.”
Jane checked the cameras and said that Andrew is still in prison.
-“I will rather check on him personelly. Anyway I don’t believe the machines.” After he finished the sentecne he dissappeared in the long corridor.
Cassie checked the computer archive and gasped. Everybody got around her discovering what’s going on. Cassie started.
-“I think I know what caused uncosciousness to us. Computer just found a trail of neutrilod in the ventilation system. Which is the strong paralysing poison that can put somebody to sleep in two seconds. But how did it get there? We were all in the control room.”
-“You said it can put man down in two seconds,”told Joel,” well obviously the fall of electricity has nothing to do with paralysing all of us, because I was conscious a lot more after the blackout. The only suspect here is Andrew”
-“But it’s not possible becau…” Then she stopped and her heart started beating faster.
She looked at screen and Capo was just uncovering the blanket in the prison. But he uncovered only the pack of pillows and sheets. Andrew was gone.
Jane started to speak histerically.
-“That can’t be true. There is no way he would turn out the electricity all by himself.”
-“No, there is not, you’re right”, Joel silently whispered, “but that explains what was he doing next to pressure chamber. He let the gas run into the air ventilation. Also the gas mask is missing. The only question that is imortant now , how did he get to let himself out of the cell?
-”He did not”, Cassie said. “The computer archive just showed us the answer. Seven minutes ago the udentefied object joined our external battery. We were sabotaged by someone else…
